Beading Kits

$38.00

When I began teaching beginning beadwork, I brought with me two different colorways of bead kit for those who wanted to practice and explore more without having to buy large quantities of single colors. These kits are an extension of that principle, with the addition of some fun extras.

  • Rainbow - A classic rainbow spread in opaque colors.

  • Fruit Salad - A bright, fruity colorway with lots of iridescent finishes and transparent beads.

  • Bejeweled - A rich, somewhat darker colorway in silver lined finishes, plus galvanized gold.

  • Mountain Mist - A colorway that reminds me of home in the Pacific Northwest. Softer, cooler, with several different finishes and opacities.

Each of these kits includes:

  • 4 grams each of eight different colors (there are about 200 beads in 1 gram). These beads are the same ones I use, Miyuki Delica cylinder beads size 11o.*

  • A small assortment of curated bits from my personal stash. These can include, but are not limited to, Czech glass beads, Swarovski crystals, wonder beads, and semi-precious stones.

  • 1 clasp, of various styles

  • 2 gold plated fishhook earrings

  • Several jump rings, various sizes and finishes

  • A spool of CLON-D thread, about 70 yards, various colors.

  • Two English beading needles, size 11, short.

Everything a beginning beader needs to play and practice their craft! If you want to receive monthly beading patterns in different shapes and sizes, check out my Patreon, where I have a few options for pattern subscriptions.

*The bead tubes used in the kits are recycled and may be in different sizes and shapes. They will always contain at least 4 grams of beads and they will be labeled with their proper color number. Colors may vary slightly between computer monitors and between dye lots.
