I began making collar style pieces as a kind of bridge between neckties and necklaces; I wanted jewelry that was explicitly nonbinary in presentation. This was my first collar piece and easily the most dramatic. I focused heavily on the necktie side of the necktie vs. necklaces equation for this piece, with saturated, deep colors and sharp lines in the pattern.
The central piece measures 2.5” wide by 3” long. With the beaded ropes, it is 21.5” across, plus a 2” extender chain. It closes with a lobster clasp. Adjustments can be made to these measurements.
