This listing is for the print of my beaded panel “Do You Love This World?”. The design is of a bird skull surrounded by lush peonies against a dark green background. The centers of the peonies are beaded with 24k gold plated beads, making it look as though the flowers are cupping pools of gold. Sharp eyed viewers will notice two tiny ants crawling over the bird skull.
The original beadwork was inspired by the poem “Peonies” by Mary Oliver. I invite you to take a few minutes to read it; it’s easily found online.
The original panel was scanned by Arts District Imageworks in Minneapolis using their Cruse flatbed scanner. Imageworks also provides the prints, using archival quality paper with giclée printing. These prints are high quality, guaranteed to last at least a hundred years.
This print is life size, an 8” x 5” image with a border that brings the total size to 10” x 8”. There is an option to purchase the print in a simple black frame.
