Event Horizon
An event horizon is the point around a black hole beyond which no light escapes. The idea of a phenomenon defined entirely by negative space, by an absence of light, is fascinating and this sculpture is an exploration of those ideas. The blank spaces draw the eye in, down tunnels of stars, to the unknowable.
