Fire is one of those motifs that never gets old. It was a natural choice for this collar, when I was thinking about bold patterns, and I gave it a purple background to make it as eye-catching as possible.
I began making collar style pieces as a kind of bridge between neckties and necklaces; I wanted jewelry that was explicitly nonbinary in presentation.
The central piece measures 3.5” wide by 3” long. With the beaded ropes, it is 23.5” across, plus a 2” extender chain. It closes with a lobster clasp. Adjustments can be made to these measurements.
