Juicy Mandala, Beadwork on Canvas
This piece was my very first try at stitching a beadwork panel to canvas. It came out slightly off kilter, and I made the decision to accent the beadwork with coordinated marker lines on the canvas. For a first attempt I think it’s not bad, but it is somewhat below the standards I aim for and so it is here in the Last Chance section at a highly discounted rate.
This piece was created by first beading the 3” x 3” panel and then stitching it to the 5” x 5” canvas. The marker lines were added last. The canvas has been equipped with d-rings and wire, gallery style, for ease of hanging.
