These canvases began with an impulse purchase at the craft store. I wasn’t sure it would even be possible to make such tiny pictures with beads, but I took the chance and I’m very glad I did.
I currently have six different canvases available:
Froggie - The first mini panel I made, and still possibly my favorite. A tree frog against a lush green background. Stitched to black canvas.
Reef - I will never get tired of marine scenes, especially coral reefs. This one features a moray eel and a sea turtle. Stitched to white canvas.
Bats - Because bats are awesome and secretly adorable. Two bats circling a full moon. Stitched to black canvas.
Pansy - I adore pansies, especially the ones with velvety purple petals. A pansy against a clear blue sky. Stitched to white canvas.
Poppy - More specifically, a California poppy, in honor of the flowers that grew in my childhood neighborhood. An orange poppy against a vintage style background. Stitched to black canvas.
Mini Neon Illusion - A counterpart to the larger Neon Illusion panel piece; candidly, after I just wasn’t ready to let go of the neons, they make my heart happy. A geometric pattern of neon colors. Stitched to white canvas.
The canvases measure 3” x 3” and the beadwork itself measures 2” x 2”. The beadwork is stitched separately and then sewn to the canvas. This makes repairs relatively simple, in case of accidental damage. A wooden stand is included with each canvas.
