Night Mountain, Beadwork on Canvas
”Night Mountain” was born out of a desire for calm. A clear night sky, full moon, water, the mountains, these are all things that bring me peace and I enjoyed bringing these familiar elements together. At the same time this work represents a stylistic departure for me. I tend to create either purely geometric or purely figurative designs, but this beaded panel is a blend of the two.
This piece was created by first beading the 5” x 3” panel and then stitching it to the 7” x 5” canvas. The canvas has been equipped with d-rings and wire, gallery style, for ease of hanging.
This is a one of a kind work of art. Prints may be purchased here.
