Snow Crab
I make my crabs in pairs. If you compare their shapes, you can see that there’s a big version and a small version of all of them; “Moon Crab” and “Tropical Crab”, “Sea Crab” and “Princess Crab”. “Electric Crab” was meant to be the small sibling to a larger crab, but when I had finished it, it was so perfectly proportioned as it was that I didn’t want to make a larger one. And so, “Snow Crab” was born.
”Snow Crab” is wired internally with LED lights that lead to an external switch and battery. The lights are in every part of its body except for one of its rear legs. Its little crown is removable to reveal a tiny compartment.
”Snow Crab”, 2025. 4” x 5” x 3”. Seed beads, LED lights, wire, battery housing, glass cabochon, monofilament thread.
