Space Castle
This box is one of my first real experiments with using wings and spikes in the design of a piece, and because it was my first time it became slightly asymmetric. It’s hard to tell just from looking at it but one of the sides of the box is narrower than the others. This means that the grey inner cup or compartment fits best when aligned with the outer blue shell. The narrow sides on the inside and outside are marked with a unique pattern to make this easy.
The inner compartment fits in loosely and comes out very easily on its own unless slight pressure is applied to the walls of the blue outer shell when picking the castle up. The castle is sturdy and lightweight and will survive a fall. It measures 3” x 3” x 3” on the outside and is one of a kind.
