Vivid Fidget
This sculpture is a type of fidget or machine called a kaleidocycle. Most kaleidocycles are made of an even number of pyramids, usually six, joined together in a ring by hinges that allow it to rotate. This particular cycle is special because it has eight pyramids, giving it an unusual silhouette. It features four unique patterns in ultra saturated colors. It turns smoothly and has a bit of heft to it, making it very satisfying to manipulate. It is about 3” across at the widest and 1” tall.
