Night Creatures
“Night Creatures” was made specifically to be a teaching piece. I knew I wanted to make a pattern for beaded books, so I decided to stick to a limited color palette to keep down the supplies beaders would need. From this grew the idea to make the pages of the book feature nocturnal animals, and so we have: a vampire bat, a black footed ferret, a great horned owl, a flying squirrel, a gray fox, and a mouse.
“Night Creatures” is fully functional as a book; the pages turn smoothly and the covers can lie flat to any page. When closed it measures 2” tall by 1.5” across by 0.5” deep.
