“Gardener” is my first real experiment with magnets. It consists of nine beaded plates sewn to a canvas, each embedded with a magnet. There are 9 individual pots and 22 pieces of flora, each with a magnet at the end of the stem. The flora’s magnets hold the pots in place, to an extent, and together create a riotous beaded garden.
