“Space Station” is an outgrowth of explorations I began in residency in Red Wing, MN in 2025. It is composed entirely of one shape, a kind of warped square, repeated hundreds of times with slight changes in color. It gives “coral” to many viewers, but when I saw it I saw the structures of pillars and floors around a central core. It reminded me of old sci-fi, before everything became white and curved.
